Mandatory Sunday Rule: 1. On the first Sunday of the month, all Goya members, including aids and students of 7, 8 and 9th grade, are expected to attend Divine Liturgy. On the third Sunday of the month, all 7th, 8th and 9th graders and Sunday School aides are expected to be in Sunday School and all 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are expected to attend Divine Liturgy. (Those Goya members who are aides in Sunday School they will attend church with their classes on their designated Sundays.)
2. On game days, all athletes (7th thru 12th graders) who are part of the Sunday School program are expected to be in their in Sunday School classrooms, Teen Rap, or serving as aides. Athletes who are not part of the Sunday School program are expected to be in church services.
3. Please be at the church by 10:30am. Attendance will be taken. Please contact Father Alex if you have a valid reason for not being able to attend church on one of the mandatory Sundays. The above rules are a requirement for participation in the GOYA program. For example, athletes who do not follow the above rules will be suspended from game play.
